Permanent Red is a bright, clean red paint tint (think fire truck) for latex and acrylic paint. Use it for reds, bring in white for pinks, or either umber or black to deepen and create barn reds and burgundy.
What Permanent Red is good for
- Pure bright reds for front doors, accent walls, signage, and sets.
- Deep reds. Barn red, oxblood, or burgundy.
- Warming oranges and browns.
Mixing with Permanent Red
- White: pink, rose, or blush.
- Burnt Umber: barn red, brick.
- Lamp Black: burgundy or oxblood.
- Orange or Medium Yellow: scarlets and red oranges.
Permanent Red or Burnt Sienna?
Permanent Red is the bright red of the pair where as Burnt Sienna is an earth tone red brown better for terracotta and brick. Burnt Sienna will hold up better outdoors.
