Organic Yellow ProTint is a bright, clean yellow tint for latex and acrylic paint. It leans slightly green, which makes it the yellow for lemon tones and for creating bright greens.
What Organic Yellow is good for
- Bright and lemon yellows.
- Clean greens. Bring in phthalo green or blue to create greens ranging from lime to kelly.
- Adding more brightness to an existing yellow or green.
Mixing with Organic Yellow
- Phthalo Blue: greens from lime to deep.
- Phthalo Green: bright yellow greens or chartreuse.
- Orange or Permanent Red: warm golds and oranges.
- White: pale lemon and light butter yellow.
Organic Yellow, Medium Yellow, or Yellow Oxide?
Organic Yellow is the greenest and "cleanest" of the three. Medium Yellow is the one for true, middle yellows and golds. Yellow Oxide is an earthy tone good for warm neutral tans.

Each 16oz squeeze bottle has a flip top nozzle for dispensing small amounts without a mess. We recommend weighing your mixes in grams so you can repeat them accurately later. Don't overload your paint/base. Bases always have a maximum tint load and begin to weaken or break. For oil-based paint or lacquer, use Cal-Tint II instead.
